Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for sports early, and discovered her talent for sprinting when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Following her initial audition, she placed in the top two at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. In 2003 Felix completed her high school graduation signing a professional contract with the sports company Adidas before enrolling at the University of Southern California where she was studying elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. The youngest winner of the 200-meter race in the world championships that took place in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 defeating the long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes in each of her events.
