Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed a knack for sports early, and discovered her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. In only 10 weeks following her first attempt, Felix finished second in the 200 meters race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school in 2003 and was signed by Adidas a contract as professional athlete. In the following year, she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. She broke the Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion for running 200m. She won the title in 2007. defended the title in front of her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in the Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo always finishing in the top three in all her events.
