Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. She is most famous for the roles she appeared in the movie Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful The Great and Powerful, this Is Where I Leave You. The actress is currently playing Amantha in Rectify, a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director who is also a TV producer. She became famous for her performances on Rectify (a dramatic) as well as Timeless (a sci-fi). Her debut as an actor was All My Children, a soap opera based out of Gulf Breeze Florida. Her role in the soap opera All My Children won her an award from Soap Opera Digest for Best Female Newcomer. She largely played guest parts in a variety of TV shows over the following few years. The role she played as Dr. Erin Jameson on the show Hawthorne was praised by the audience. Her stunning looks coupled with her uncanny acting talent led to a gradual growth of an audience. Her debut film came at just twenty-something, and she was in Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as and Chasing Mavericks are two other films in which she appeared. The character she played as the lead character in Beautiful Now was recognized with a Madrid International Film Festival Award. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer has received positive reviews from critics regarding her character in the sci-fi TV show Timeless. She was also nominated for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
