Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going into the big screen to play comedy films like 'Elf "Anchorman," as well as Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He began his comedic career as an actor in the Los Angeles-based improv group, the Groundlings. After his successful seven-year tenure as a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live, he became one of the movie industry's biggest comedic draws through off-color films such as Old School (2003) and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was a co-founder of Funny or Die, a well-known website that streams videos. Also, he had successes as an actor voiceover in animated films such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was born on July 16 1967 in Irvine, California. The oldest child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and teacher Kay Ferrell, Will was--by his own admission, not the class clown while a student at University High School. He was quiet and studious and he opted to be a football player, setting a school record for the highest number of field goals made. Ferrell was not a fan of the outlandish, humorous behavior that would determine his career even in his suburban home. In an interview with Esquire the magazine, his mother stated Ferrell was "very even-tempered, very easygoing." "You do you know those little Matchbox cars? Will would be completely happy in lining up all of his Matchbox cars all by himself. It would be like, "You want to go to Disneyland today, or line up your cars?' This would be a tough conversation for him to consider. "That's not to say that Ferrell was a straight man. One glimpse of Ferrell's comedy talent was displayed every morning in high school when Ferrell disguised himself in order to announce his day's events on the PA system. Following his graduation in 1986 Ferrell went to the University of Southern California at Los Angeles, where he joined Delta Tau, the Delta Tau fraternity and pursued the field of sports journalism with a degree.
