 Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992. She is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. Her unique raspy voice is known for her musical influences, which include country, pop hip hop, hip-hop, experimental rock, and much more. Cyrus has scored the highest US Billboard 200 top-five albums in the 21st century by an artist female, with a total of thirteen entries. Cyrus's career highlights include appearances in the Time 100 list in 2008 and 2014, MTV's Best Artist of 2013 Award, and placement on Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists Chart in the year 2019. She is often regarded as one of the few examples of successful child actors-turned-singers. Cyrus, an actress, has been featured in Bolt (2008) as in the feature film Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009 and 2010). In the world of television, Cyrus played an instructor on the singing competition show The Voice across two seasons, as well as a character in the episode "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too" of the Netflix series Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is an ardent advocate for the rights of animals. She began a vegan diet in 2014. In 2014, she created the Happy Hippie Foundation which focuses on homeless youth and the LGBT community.
