Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992. She is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. Her unique raspy voice is known for her musical influences, which include country, pop hip hop, hip-hop, experimental rock, and much more. Cyrus has scored the highest US Billboard 200 top-five albums in the 21st century by an artist female, with a total of thirteen entries. Cyrus's private life, public images and performances have often sparked controversy, and have garnered a lot of media coverage. Cyrus, a daughter of country music artist Billy Ray Cyrus, emerged as a teen idol playing the main character on the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana (2006-2011). Hannah Montana was a US Billboard 200 number-oneartist, three times top five soundtrack artist, and the US Billboard Hot 100's Top Ten single, "He Could Be The One". Cyrus's own discography contains the US number-one albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008) and Bangerz (2012) as well as the top five hits Can't Get Tamed (2017), Younger Now (2017) and Plastic Hearts (2020); and the Miley Cyrus and His Dead Petz (2015). Cyrus's EPs The Time of Our Lives (2009) and She Is Coming (2019) also appeared in the top five. Plastic Hearts was Cyrus's most well-known album, debuting on the top of the Billboard Rock Chart. Cyrus, an actress, has been featured in Bolt (2008) as in the feature film Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009 and 2010).
